Welcome to Gallery Space and to the latest exhibition of my paintings. There are 22 pictures which haven't been shown publicly before.
We have moved on a few thousand years from the standing stones of previous exhibitions to look at more modern structures, townscapes. The urban landscape has fascinated me for years; it forms the backdrop for the lives of many of us and it affects our thoughts, our attitudes, our feelings and our behaviour. An interesting subject.
While the places that inspire me are sometimes recognisable, these paintings are not accurate representations of actual streets; they are intended to convey some of the feelings I have about our urban environment.
If you missed the earlier exhibitions, those pictures can still be found in Store Rooms A and B. Click on the image to open the store. Click on the paintings in the store and you get an bigger photo.
I would love to hear your views on the paintings. You can leave a message for me in the guestbook and, if you want to contact me, my email address is on the contacts page.
