Dear Philip
I, too, like the ones that I can recognise particularly Picadilly Circus. I also recognise some standing stones and am drawn to the one with the typically Cornish vegetation in the background. Perhaps you will invite us to have a viewing of some more London scenes in 'real life'.
One's responses to paintings, like music, are so very personal...
Good to see you the other day, and to see this lovely selection of your work. I'm very much in favour of it...as a bit of an urban landscapist of a different kind myself (www.david-fawcett-photography.co.uk and www.flickr.com/photos/stringendo - feel free to link, and I'll return the favour!)
All best with the work. I'll be back to look in more detail when we have created lots of lovely empty wall space in our new loft.
I really enjoy trying to decide if I can detect where the untitled paintings emanate from.London is such a wonderful place in which to havelived. The colours are splendidly eye-catching. Thank-you.
I've just visited your website again - fantastic -we enjoy delving into your paintings so easily. I really liked the London ones. (Toronto is waiting for your expertise!)
Dear Philip. Wonderful to be able to view your paintings. The views around London bring back memories of when we were in Manchuria Road. Sounds like country life and retirement are suiting both you and Sally.
