Katalina's paintings are influenced by spiritual art of the great iconic and Italian artists. She uses various techniques mixing them in unusual ways. Her first abstract canvases portrayed the elements: Fire, Water, Sun, Rain, and were dedicated to exploration of colour and light. In her later  paintings ahe introduced figurative and symbolic elements while keeping the same expressiveness of color.
